As DNA PC STRAND, within the framework of a holistic sustainable development approach, it concretizes its work with management systems in order to create a more livable environment with its economic, environmental and social dimensions and to transfer this environment to the next generations.

In accordance with this purpose;

• Reduce waste, increase recycling, use raw materials and natural resources effectively and efficiently, reduce greenhouse gas impact, transportation impact and energy consumption,
• To increase the life cycle and efficiency in all our processes to a level that can compete at the international level in line with the continuous improvement approach of our management systems in order to increase our Quality - Environment - Occupational Health and Safety performance,
• We aim to take precautions for sustainable resource utilization, reduction of climate change, and protection of ecosystems and biodiversity.

Energy Management

As DNA PC STRAND, we aim to comply with the relevant party, legal and other requirements applicable within the scope of the Management Systems we have created with our context, principles and values in the national and international markets in which we operate, to increase customer satisfaction, to protect employees from potential hazards on behalf of the organization, to control negative environmental impacts, to use energy resources efficiently.

In accordance with this purpose;

• Responsible sourcing, reducing transportation impact and energy consumption in the supply chain,
• Ensuring continuous improvement to increase energy performance,
• The necessary information and resources will be provided in the realization of activities and targets to increase energy efficiency,
• Continue to support design activities that take into account the improvement of energy performance.

Our completed rooftop solar power plant contributes green energy to our energy needs. Our solar power plant also prevents an annual average of 1450 tons of energy-related CO₂ emissions.

Raw Material Management

Our sustainable raw material supplies used in the surface cleaning process enables 100% acid regeneration that does not create waste in the surface cleaning process, while creating a by-product of iron sulfate, which is used as raw material in many sectors.

FeSO4 is used in cement manufacturing, in the feed industry, in the agricultural sector to provide plants with longer life and resistance to diseases, at the treatment of waste and utility water, in fertilizer production, in the production of iron-containing catalysts, in the treatment of hazardous wastes, in the chemical industry (in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food industry, in the production of ferric sulfate, in the production of Fe-oxide pigments such as black-yellow-red) and as a catalyst in chemical reactions.

Environmental Management

DNA PC STRAND continues its production with a structure that adopts a sustainable environmental policy, follows the necessary new technologies in this regard, invests in its own structure and supports them with the quality certificates it has received.

It ensures the disposal and recycling of all kinds of solid, liquid and gaseous wastes that arise or may arise during the production, repair, maintenance, etc. of the facilities within the framework of legal obligations, with priority given to recycling.

The wastewater generated in the process is completely cleaned in our facility and in the organized industrial wastewater treatment systems we are integrated with.

 The greenhouse gas effect, one of the most sensitive issues for the world, is also very important for us.

As a proof of our green production, EPD reports are prepared for our facility.
